WHAT AN AFRICAN PROMISE EXPEDITION IS:,An expedition is an opportunity for you to have a cultural exchange with some of the most beautiful people in the world. In addition, you will live in a village for a week yet still have some of the comforts of home. Although we participate in community service, we find that participants come home with the feeling that “they” have been helped. Going on an expedition can be transformative for those who show up with an open heart. We have opportunities for cultural and adventure experiences that can include, singing and dancing with locals, home visits, building a classroom, hiking, and spending time with students at Cornerstone Leadership Academy.
