WHERE : Uganda, Africa COST : $3500 not including airfare Join leadership expert Tony Mosier and Telos staff on a trip of a lifetime to Uganda, Africa. Tony will team up with Suzy Benson, an experienced teacher, humanitarian, faciliator, and coach as they lead young adults from Telos on this trip of a lifetime. This is an educational experience you won't find in a classroom. Your expedition will include community service, cultural learning, group activities, a Nile River boat cruise, a waterfall hike, an adventure safari, and a shopping day! During your expedition Suzy will facilitate meaningful group activities and those who are interested can participate in meditation and mindfulness activities. Tony and the Telos team will focus on
· Learning happiness · Leadership · Individualized goals After applying and being accepted for this expedition, Suzy will reach out to you to help you book your airfare. Tony and Telos staff will be traveling with the boys from the Salt Lake City airport. You can rest assured that Suzy will take care of guiding you and your son on things such as shots, packing and what to expect when traveling. Tony and the Telos staff will be on hand in Uganda to manage medications. Should the need arise, they will be on hand to counsel and work with any participants who may need extra therapeutic support. About Telos: Telos Academy is a residential treatment program for adolescent boys (13-18). Telos U is a clinically strong, yet community integrated support program for co-ed young adults transitioning to college, work, or independent living. The levels of support across Telos programs range from residential treatment to supported independent living. Please Note: This trip is limited to Telos students vetted by the Telos staff. Only students who are therapeutically ready will be invited to attend.
